Lay-by terms and conditions

Lay-by is available only where Audio Revival agrees to it for a particular product. Because our stock is generally one of a kind, the arrangement begins only after we confirm the terms in writing and receive the required deposit.

The written lay-by record will identify the product, total price, deposit, payment dates, completion date and any agreed collection or freight costs.

The minimum deposit is 20% of the total sale price. You must then make regular monthly payments and pay the balance in full within 12 weeks of the lay-by starting, unless a different schedule is agreed by us in writing.

Contact us before a payment date if you expect a delay. We may agree to a variation, but we are not required to extend the completion period.

We will remove the product from sale and hold it for you while the lay-by remains current. Ownership does not transfer and the product cannot be delivered or collected until the full amount, including any agreed freight, has been paid.

You may cancel a lay-by at any time before receiving the product by contacting us. We will refund the deposit and other amounts paid, less any termination fee clearly stated in the written lay-by agreement.

A termination fee will not exceed our reasonable costs relating to the lay-by and will not operate as a penalty. The written agreement will explain the fee or how it is calculated before you enter the lay-by.

Audio Revival may cancel a lay-by only where the law permits, including where you breach the agreement, the business ceases trading or the product becomes unavailable for a reason outside our control.

If we cancel the lay-by, we will refund the lay-by payments received and will not charge a termination fee. Before cancelling for missed payments or another breach, we will use the contact details supplied to try to resolve the issue with you.

Once payment is complete, the usual shipping, returns and warranty terms apply. Completing a lay-by does not reduce any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
