The terms behind the storefront

Terms of service

These terms explain how the Audio Revival website, one-off product listings and Shopify-powered checkout work. They do not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Important

Most products are one of a kind. Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it; an order is accepted only after payment and our order confirmation.

01

Agreement and eligibility

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, do not use the service or submit an order.

You must be at least the age of majority in your state or territory, or use the service with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian. You must not use the website or products for an unlawful purpose, interfere with the site's operation or transmit malicious code.

02

Pre-loved products and listings

Audio Revival sells pre-loved audio equipment, commonly as a single available unit. We aim to describe and photograph each product accurately, including material marks, missing accessories and known limitations. Minor differences in screen colour, lighting and scale can occur.

The listing, photographs and any written clarification we provide before purchase form part of the product description. Ask us before ordering if a dimension, feature, compatibility point or condition detail is important to your decision.

03

Pricing, stock and order acceptance

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable unless stated otherwise. Freight, payment or other charges are shown at checkout or quoted before they apply.

We may correct an obvious pricing, stock or description error, reject an order where fraud or misuse is suspected, or limit quantities. If we cannot accept an order after payment, we will refund the amount received. A cart does not reserve stock, and simultaneous purchases of a one-off product can occasionally occur.

04

Checkout and payment

Shopify hosts the store and checkout. Payment is subject to the terms of the selected provider, and an order is not ready for dispatch until payment clears. You must provide accurate billing, delivery and contact information so we can complete the order.

Title to the goods passes after full payment. Risk passes in accordance with applicable law and the agreed delivery or collection arrangement.

05

Delivery, returns and warranties

Our Shipping and delivery, Returns and refunds, and Warranty and consumer guarantees pages form part of these terms. They explain dispatch estimates, large-item freight, return approval and available remedies.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

06

Website information and availability

We work to keep the website accurate and available but do not promise uninterrupted access or that every historical, editorial or general technical statement is complete for every system. Product-specific advice depends on the information you provide about your room and equipment.

We may update products, prices, content or features without notice. We may also suspend access for maintenance, security or events outside our reasonable control.

07

Third-party services and links

The website may link to or rely on third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, carriers, manufacturers and social platforms. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use them. We are not responsible for third-party content that we do not control, subject always to rights that cannot be excluded by law.

08

Intellectual property and acceptable use

The Audio Revival name, branding, website design, original text, photography and other content are owned by or licensed to us. You may browse and make a reasonable personal copy for shopping purposes, but you must not commercially reproduce, scrape, republish or exploit the content without permission.

09

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website, a delay outside our reasonable control or reliance on general information without checking product-specific requirements. Any liability that can lawfully be limited is limited to the remedies available under applicable law.

This clause does not limit liability or rights that cannot legally be limited, including applicable Australian Consumer Law rights.

10

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the parties submit to the courts with jurisdiction there. We may update the terms from time to time, with the current version and effective date published on this page.
