About this piece

The Electrocompaniet EMP 3 is a premium multi-format disc player designed to deliver both high-end stereo listening and full home-theatre support. Built in Norway with the brand’s signature attention to both build quality and musical integrity, it handles CD, SACD, Blu-ray (2D/3D), DVD-Audio and more, while offering a dedicated balanced stereo output for serious two-channel systems. With up-scaling to 4K, dual-HDMI outputs, and a streaming/network interface, it bridges the worlds of audiophile playback and modern multimedia convenience. In a two-channel context it provides the kind of quiet, high-res analogue output typical of Electrocompaniet’s dedicated stereo gear; in a theatre context it gives full multi-channel flexibility.
